Main Level: Features three comfortable bedrooms (two King beds, one Twin bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, laundry facilities, and a second cozy living area with a TV.
Outdoor Living: Step outside into the spacious backyard—the ultimate spot for outdoor games, afternoon lounging, and al fresco dining.
Note: To preserve its classic coastal charm, the home does not have central heating or A/C, but the surrounding ocean provides a delightful, natural breeze that keeps the space feeling fresh and cool.

We loved our stay in Fairhaven. We were traveling with kids, infant, and dog and had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The panoramic views from the upstairs room were fantastic. We enjoyed the small association beach (just bring water shoes) as well as the West Island beach. The neighborhood was low-key and welcoming. I strongly recommend bringing bug spray because the mosquitos were vicious.

The house came with linens and towels, cleaning supplies, and beach chairs and toys. The private beach was so incredible, we never even checked out the bigger beach although we did have a pass to use if we wanted to. We were often the only ones on the beach and found HUGE shells. Tina provided recommendations of restaurants to go to or order, there was an ice cream shop walking distance, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. Tina always responded immediately with any questions. We will absolutely be booking again!

When you’re not at the beach, you can easily walk to local boutiques and delicious neighborhood restaurants. Plus, you’re only a 10-minute drive from neighboring New Bedford, where you can catch the ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!
The Layout
Main Floor: Features a large, comfortable living room that opens into a sunny little porch, a separate formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. For added convenience, there is a main-floor bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The location on the north side of Causeway was more quiet and residential feeling than the places we’ve stayed toward the town beach. We had such a wonderful long weekend at Strawberry Moon. The house was spacious and well equipped and loved how close it was to the town beach - as well as well situated to have a short drive to lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. And, was only an hour drive to get to Newport!The backyard and back deck were pristine and the outdoor shower was a lovely bonus. The beds were a little squeaky and I do wish there had been beach chairs available to use, but other than that, it was just about perfect. Tina was super communicative and we had everything we needed during our stay. It was a great spot to go with our baby and friends for a getaway!

Tina’s place was cute and a good retreat for our family of 6. We walked down to the little cove to explore and find shells and check out the tide pools. We walked down to the creamery every evening as well and enjoyed their fresh ice cream.

Beautiful island, walking distance to the beach. We stayed during the 4th of July and had an incredible firework show. Easy check-in, very communicative and nice sized house.

My family and I did a week long Northeast road trip and came across this Airbnb as a central location to Newport, RI & Cape Cod, MA. The house is located on a quiet street that was a bit isolated, but everything in town was a short 10-minute drive and the beach was minutes away. The house was updated, clean and had everything we needed for a few days. It was a bit of a tight fit for 6 adults with only 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, but I would definitely stay here again with less people. Overall, we had a great stay and the location gave us central access to several major NE towns.
