We enjoyed the small association beach (just bring water shoes) as well as the West Island beach. The neighborhood was low-key and welcoming. I strongly recommend bringing bug spray because the mosquitos were vicious.

The Layout
Main Floor: An open, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, full laundry facilities, and a cozy living room with two distinct seating areas (including a streaming-ready TV).
Second Floor: Three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The primary bedroom (Queen) and the second bedroom (Full) both feature window A/C units, while the cozy third bedroom (Full) is equipped with a fan.
Recent Upgrades We are constantly improving the property to ensure a comfortable stay. Recent updates include a brand-new stove, new leather recliner and loveseat, a refreshed custom shower, extensive yard and road cleanup, a newly built bridge over the marsh area, and professional mosquito and tick treatment for your comfort.
Dog-Friendly! Bring your four-legged best friend along for the adventure.
Guest Access: Guests have full run of the house, except for the shed and a locked closet behind the laundry room (used for owner storage). While the owners’ personal boats are not available for guest use, we highly encourage you to bring your own kayaks or canoes to launch directly from the marsh!

iwant to state i never actually stayed here i arrived and left within 5 mintues of entry. there were several issue but the most important one was that there was water leaking from the first floor ceiling the carpet was wet and stained and the entire house smelt. it all looked like a long standing issue and im boggled by the good reviews. i never went upstairs but my husband did and the ceiling there were also damp and water stained. maybe it was a bad winter for the house but it felt straight up from a horror movie when we arrived. We were worried about fleas for our dog the ceiling dripped on my husband and we went to the nearest hotel. Hopefully the host actually goes and fixes the issue and properly cleans the home. when i called upon arrival( we were locked out) they stated they had other rentals i hope those are maintained better

Beautiful home, host was responsive and friendly. Beaches were private and relaxing. The view was incredible, especially at sunrise and sunset!

We have rented this location multiple times from Tina. She is a great host, readily available with any questions or concerns. She offered a list of things to do in the area as well as local restaurants and shopping. We had a great visit to the Whaling museum and the military museum near by. The house is in a great location with beautiful views of the bay from the sitting area and yard space. Patio furniture very comfortable to watch the sunset from. Plenty of supplies available to cook or clean up after yourself. Beach towels/bath towels and linens available for our use. Games and toys available to keep you busy on a rainy day or when winding down in the evening. We will be back again next year!

We have rented this location multiple times from Tina. She is a great host, readily available with any questions or concerns. She offered a list of things to do in the area as well as local restaurants and shopping. We had a great visit to the Whaling museum and the military museum near by. This was our third time staying here! The house and yard with beach access are great for our young kids. They had so much fun running around the lawn and playing in the sand. The town beach at the end of the road is a great option for additional beach time. We hope to be back!

This was the perfect beachfront getaway! The house had even more amenities than expected and the pictures of the beach don’t do it justice- It was all around amazing and we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful ocean views and a private beach! Tina was an excellent host. Very friendly and responsive. The house is well stocked with beach towels and chairs so we didn't have to worry about bringing anything. We enjoyed driving to fairhaven to try the local breakfast joints!

lovely day is an absolutely stunning cottage on the water. We couldn't have asked for a better place. everything was absolutely perfect. 10/10 recommend staying here. perfect for a romantic getaway or just a girls weekend. close to everything you'll need. but you wont want to leave. Great place.

If I could give Lovely Day 100 stars I would. The house was immaculate and SO adorable. Perfect for my family of four with two small children. The house came with linens and towels, cleaning supplies, and beach chairs and toys. The private beach was so incredible, we never even checked out the bigger beach although we did have a pass to use if we wanted to. We were often the only ones on the beach and found HUGE shells. Tina provided recommendations of restaurants to go to or order, there was an ice cream shop walking distance, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. Tina always responded immediately with any questions. We will absolutely be booking again!
