Important Notes

  • Entry: The house is raised due to its waterside location, requiring a full flight of stairs to enter the main dwelling.

  • Cooling: There is one mini-split A/C unit in the main room. While it cools the house, closing bedroom doors will affect the airflow.

  • River Swimming: Please note the sand near the dock is very soft, making the area not ideal for swimming.

  • Policy: No pets allowed.

This cozy beach cottage is perfect for the whole family.  Located on a cozy island in Fairhaven, MA.

With space to comfortably sleep five, it also offers three extra beds on the air-conditioned, unfinished second floor for additional guests (additional guest fee applies).

Enjoy meals together outdoors with the dining area and grill or cook inside in the well-equipped kitchen.

The outdoor dining area and grill help extend the living area and complement the well-equipped kitchen.

Just a short walk from the beach, the cottage also includes a town beach parking pass ($300 replacement fee if lost). An outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a day in the sand.

The Space

  • First Floor: A fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, a small sitting room with a double pullout couch, and a half bath. Step out onto the covered back deck to enjoy the yard and a BBQ grill.
  • Second Floor: Features a primary bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with two double beds, and a full bathroom with a laundry area.

We supply a public beach pass for access to all town beaches. Please note, there is a $300 replacement fee for a lost or missing pass. For the next guest’s convenience, we ask that you return it to the house manual at the end of your stay.
