This was our second stay at Tina’s place and we plan to return every summer we can. The location is perfect for the kids to walk across to the smaller beach and still be able to come back for lunch. A very cozy home with plenty of space for everyone to relax after a long day at the beach. my favorite part is waking up to look at the ocean with my coffee each morning.

Could potentially access by water. There are no canoes, kayaks or SUPs so bring your own. Perfect spot for this. Absolutely beautiful area to explore in a self propelled boat! The beds are comfortable. The shared living space is nice and large. Screened in porch perfect for coffee in the morning. The neighborhood is very quiet. The neighbors are very nice too.

Please note: If you are looking for high-end luxury or a modern hotel feel, this laid-back retreat might not be for you. If you love old-school coastal character, you’ll be right at home.
The marsh is your backyard—perfect for spotting local wildlife or launching your own kayak or canoe. After a day of exploring, head up to the upper deck to soak in breathtaking views of Little Bay and catch spectacular, uninterrupted sunsets.
The Layout
Main Floor: An open, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, full laundry facilities, and a cozy living room with two distinct seating areas (including a streaming-ready TV).
Second Floor: Three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The primary bedroom (Queen) and the second bedroom (Full) both feature window A/C units, while the cozy third bedroom (Full) is equipped with a fan.
Recent Upgrades We are constantly improving the property to ensure a comfortable stay. Recent updates include a brand-new stove, new leather recliner and loveseat, a refreshed custom shower, extensive yard and road cleanup, a newly built bridge over the marsh area, and professional mosquito and tick treatment for your comfort.
Dog-Friendly! Bring your four-legged best friend along for the adventure.
Guest Access: Guests have full run of the house, except for the shed and a locked closet behind the laundry room (used for owner storage). While the owners’ personal boats are not available for guest use, we highly encourage you to bring your own kayaks or canoes to launch directly from the marsh!

iwant to state i never actually stayed here i arrived and left within 5 mintues of entry. there were several issue but the most important one was that there was water leaking from the first floor ceiling the carpet was wet and stained and the entire house smelt. it all looked like a long standing issue and im boggled by the good reviews. i never went upstairs but my husband did and the ceiling there were also damp and water stained. maybe it was a bad winter for the house but it felt straight up from a horror movie when we arrived. We were worried about fleas for our dog the ceiling dripped on my husband and we went to the nearest hotel. Hopefully the host actually goes and fixes the issue and properly cleans the home. when i called upon arrival( we were locked out) they stated they had other rentals i hope those are maintained better

We had a very good time here! I travelled from Keller, TX with my family and were easily able to find the cottage. It is very private and quiet with easy access to the private beach. The house was stocked with essentials and we absolutely enjoyed it. For the price, I’d absolutely do it again. One important recommendation for all, make sure you understand THIS IS A COTTAGE. Let it come to you and you will have a blast. For the host I’ll recommend maybe more frequent mosquito control, we were around for about a week. It is about a 50 min drive to the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, and to downtown Boston. Our only qualm was we struggled quite a bit with mosquito bites daytime and night time. Overall, we really had a great time, the host was super responsive.Thank you Tina for having us. We’d return any day.

If I could give Lovely Day 100 stars I would. The house was immaculate and SO adorable. Perfect for my family of four with two small children. The house came with linens and towels, cleaning supplies, and beach chairs and toys. The private beach was so incredible, we never even checked out the bigger beach although we did have a pass to use if we wanted to. We were often the only ones on the beach and found HUGE shells. Tina provided recommendations of restaurants to go to or order, there was an ice cream shop walking distance, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. Tina always responded immediately with any questions. We will absolutely be booking again!

If I could give Lovely Day 100 stars I would. The house was immaculate and SO adorable. Perfect for my family of four with two small children. The house came with linens and towels, cleaning supplies, and beach chairs and toys. The private beach was so incredible, we never even checked out the bigger beach although we did have a pass to use if we wanted to. We were often the only ones on the beach and found HUGE shells. Tina provided recommendations of restaurants to go to or order, there was an ice cream shop walking distance, and the neighbors were incredibly friendly. Tina always responded immediately with any questions. We will absolutely be booking again!

Tina's place is a paradise on heart. Literally on the beach but also close to wonderful private beaches. the place is neat, well equipped, and the view is just magnificent. Tina's is super responsive and helpful. Ideal for a family of 4. Will rent again for sure.

Nestled in the heart of Fairhaven’s quaint and historic downtown, this spacious 3-bedroom home offers plenty of room for everyone to relax and play. You are just a short, scenic stroll away from the playground, walking trails, and beaches at historic Fort Phoenix.
When you’re not at the beach, you can easily walk to local boutiques and delicious neighborhood restaurants. Plus, you’re only a 10-minute drive from neighboring New Bedford, where you can catch the ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!
The Layout
Main Floor: Features a large, comfortable living room that opens into a sunny little porch, a separate formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. For added convenience, there is a main-floor bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Second Floor: Up the stairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a bonus secondary living/TV room complete with air conditioning—perfect for giving the kids or teenagers their own space.
Basement: Full laundry facilities are available for your use.
Outdoor Living Fire up the grill in the backyard and enjoy an afternoon barbecue at the picnic table after a fun day in the sun.

Fairhaven is such a cute town. I enjoyed my daily morning walks from the center of town to the beach, Tina’s house is perfectly situated in a neighborhood with ample sidewalks. There is an ice cream shop, restaurants, coffee shop, beach, and beautiful library nearby. I will try to stay here whenever I’m in area to visit family. It is a quick drive to the Vineyard ferry and downtown New Bedford. The cottage is old, but has been updated with excellent air conditioning. Steps to upstairs bedrooms are very steep. Ok for young ones though. My teens loved having their own space with sitting room. There is a long bike trail near the house, but no place in town rents bicycles (business opportunity!), so bring a bike if you can!

The house is located on a quiet street that was a bit isolated, but everything in town was a short 10-minute drive and the beach was minutes away. The house was updated, clean and had everything we needed for a few days. It was a bit of a tight fit for 6 adults with only 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, but I would definitely stay here again with less people. Overall, we had a great stay and the location gave us central access to several major NE towns.

The smaller local beach within walking distance is safe and full of exploration for families with small children, and the expansive town beach provides soft sand with beautiful views of Buzzards Bay. You'll need to bring beach chairs and umbrellas as necessary, however the home is otherwise provided with ample linens, paper goods, and a fully supplied kitchen. We had a WONDERFUL experience at Strawberry Moon and plan to return for years to come! Tina was fantastic to work with and provided us with everything we needed for a memorable beach week. The house is gorgeous and spacious, right in the heart of the island. The little beach and the ocean cream shop are walkable and all the amenities of home are right at your fingertips. We also took several day trips onto the Cape and enjoyed so many adventures. The house is beautifully remodeled with a stunning kitchen, a lovely sitting area, and bright and spacious family room. We were there for a baseball tournament, so this was an amazing last minute find. Tina was very accommodating. We explored the area during the day. The rail trail is beautiful! It was nice having a washer and a well stocked kitchen.
