When you’re not at the beach, you can easily walk to local boutiques and delicious neighborhood restaurants. Plus, you’re only a 10-minute drive from neighboring New Bedford, where you can catch the ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!
The Layout
Main Floor: Features a large, comfortable living room that opens into a sunny little porch, a separate formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. For added convenience, there is a main-floor bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Second Floor: Up the stairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a bonus secondary living/TV room complete with air conditioning—perfect for giving the kids or teenagers their own space.
Basement: Full laundry facilities are available for your use.
Outdoor Living Fire up the grill in the backyard and enjoy an afternoon barbecue at the picnic table after a fun day in the sun.
Important Note on Accessibility:
To keep the authentic character of this historic home, the interior stairs leading to the second floor are a bit steep. Please keep this in mind for small children or anyone with mobility concerns.

Fairhaven is such a cute town. I enjoyed my daily morning walks from the center of town to the beach, Tina’s house is perfectly situated in a neighborhood with ample sidewalks. There is an ice cream shop, restaurants, coffee shop, beach, and beautiful library nearby. I will try to stay here whenever I’m in area to visit family. It is a quick drive to the Vineyard ferry and downtown New Bedford. The cottage is old, but has been updated with excellent air conditioning. Steps to upstairs bedrooms are very steep. Ok for young ones though. My teens loved having their own space with sitting room. There is a long bike trail near the house, but no place in town rents bicycles (business opportunity!), so bring a bike if you can!

The house was spotless and Tina was incredibly responsive. Cute neighborhood that was a perfect place to go with a pre-schooler as we could safely scoot all through the neighborhood and enjoyed the Fort and beach was perfect for a young child. Easy to walk to get coffee and treats or drive to explore other places. Wish I could give it 4.5 as it was everything it promised to be but generally reserve 5 for water views or other special touches but it is exactly as described and we all felt comfortable and had fun. Comfy to come home to. Thank you Tina.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison bien entretenue avec toutes les commodités et dans quartier calme.Proche d’une petite plage sympathique et par trop loin de Cap Code.Nous avons pris le ferry qui est à 10min de voiture pour Martha’s Vinyard, une excellente excursion d’une journée.Des restaurants sympa pas très loin.Tina a été fantastique, toujours à l’écoute de nos besoins
