When you’re not at the beach, you can easily walk to local boutiques and delicious neighborhood restaurants. Plus, you’re only a 10-minute drive from neighboring New Bedford, where you can catch the ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!
The Layout
Main Floor: Features a large, comfortable living room that opens into a sunny little porch, a separate formal dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. For added convenience, there is a main-floor bedroom and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Second Floor: Up the stairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms and a bonus secondary living/TV room complete with air conditioning—perfect for giving the kids or teenagers their own space.
Basement: Full laundry facilities are available for your use.
Outdoor Living Fire up the grill in the backyard and enjoy an afternoon barbecue at the picnic table after a fun day in the sun.
Important Note on Accessibility:
To keep the authentic character of this historic home, the interior stairs leading to the second floor are a bit steep. Please keep this in mind for small children or anyone with mobility concerns.

This place was spacious and comfortable for 3 people. It has plenty of storage for clothes, suitcases etc. I liked that it was clean and bed was comfortable. There is a sitting area upstairs with a tv which is nice. A lamp for reading there would be nice also. Tina was very responsive to all emails and responded quickly when there was a concern about the air conditioner. Fort Phoenix is within walking distance and the neighborhood is great for walking. Stairs are a bit steep from upstairs to come down to bathroom but we are in good shape and managed it well- there is a banister too. We would definitely stay here in the future!

Tina’s place was the perfect spot for our family. The house was clean and in the perfect location to hop off from to enjoy the surrounding area. Beautiful historic walks to the local beach and coffee shops. A quick drive to New Bedford with plenty of restaurants to enjoy! The house felt larger than the photos portrayed, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the well kept children’s toys in the house and coloring supplies! The only problem we had was we wish we had more time. Can’t recommend this rental enough!

This place is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood. It is walkable to lots of things in the center of town and a great launching pad to explore the Southcoast area from. Very spacious and well appointed bungalow that makes for a great stay.

Wet nice location to enjoy your vacation. Fort Phonix is walking distance. The house was very clean and have you easy access to the market n roads of Fairhaven. The host was great whatever I texted her about she responded in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this place to others.
