It’s also the perfect, centrally located starting point for easy day trips to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, or Newport, Rhode Island.
The Layout
Main Floor: A fully equipped gourmet kitchen, an elegant dining area, a spacious main living room, and a cozy secondary sitting room featuring a double pull-out sofa. A convenient half-bath is also located on this level.
Second Floor: Features the primary bedroom with a comfortable Queen bed, a generous second bedroom with two Double beds, and a full bathroom with in-unit laundry.
Outdoor Living Step outside to the covered back deck and charming, beautifully landscaped yard—complete with a BBQ grill for perfect summer afternoon cookouts.
Beach Pass Policy: For your convenience, a town beach parking permit is provided for your use during your stay. Please ensure the pass is returned directly to the house manual upon check-out. Because these passes cannot be easily replaced by the town mid-season, a $300 replacement fee will be charged for any lost or missing permits to cover the cost and the impact on the next arriving guests.

Very cute house-well furnished. Very clean. Nice neighborhood. Easy entrance and locking system. Nice deck. Lots of flowers. A few things lacking in the kitchen for cooking meals. Overall a pleasant experience.

Tina is a wonderfully responsive host. Her home was clean and bright, with a relaxing deck surrounded by well-planned perennial gardens. The outside shower and central A/C were a huge bonus as the first of our two weeks stay entailed very hot, outdoor work in the area. The smaller local beach within walking distance is safe and full of exploration for families with small children, and the expansive town beach provides soft sand with beautiful views of Buzzards Bay. You'll need to bring beach chairs and umbrellas as necessary, however the home is otherwise provided with ample linens, paper goods, and a fully supplied kitchen. Don't hesitate to book this West Island gem. We plan to be back in the future.

Tina is a wonderfully responsive host. Her home was clean and bright, with a relaxing deck surrounded by well-planned perennial gardens. The outside shower and central A/C were a huge bonus as the first of our two weeks stay entailed very hot, outdoor work in the area. The smaller local beach within walking distance is safe and full of exploration for families with small children, and the expansive town beach provides soft sand with beautiful views of Buzzards Bay. You'll need to bring beach chairs and umbrellas as necessary, however the home is otherwise provided with ample linens, paper goods, and a fully supplied kitchen. Don't hesitate to book this West Island gem. We plan to be back in the future.

We had a WONDERFUL experience at Strawberry Moon and plan to return for years to come! Tina was fantastic to work with and provided us with everything we needed for a memorable beach week. The house is gorgeous and spacious, right in the heart of the island. The little beach and the ocean cream shop are walkable and all the amenities of home are right at your fingertips. We also took several day trips onto the Cape and enjoyed so many adventures. The house is beautifully remodeled with a stunning kitchen, a lovely sitting area, and bright and spacious family room. The bedrooms have plenty of space with a peaceful balcony off the master that boasts views of the water. We can’t recommend Tina and Strawberry Moon highly enough!!!

We had a WONDERFUL experience at Strawberry Moon and plan to return for years to come! Tina was fantastic to work with and provided us with everything we needed for a memorable beach week. Traffic in CT added 2 extra hours to our travel time so we could not wait to arrive and relax, the house is beautiful! The furniture was comfy the back deck was great and the overall vibe was modern New England which was great. The AC would not turn on and Tina answered our text right way and was over within a half hour and got it running. We had plans in Newport 50m or so to the west and Martha’s Vineyard 55m to the East it was a great mid way point and a walkable Ice Cream parlor was an added bonus. We were a party of 5 for my daughter’s 16th birthday and we had plenty of space. The only negatives I have are the coffee pot is tiny (for non caffeine addicted people it’s prob fine), the shades in the primary bedroom allow in a lot of light very early in the am and the shower water pressure in the morning was better than at night no clue why but manageable. It was a perfect 4 day getaway.
