The Space
This rustic waterfront cottage is tucked away in the peaceful marshes of East Fairhaven, offering a secluded slice of paradise for nature lovers. Dripping with authentic beach-cottage charm, this is a place to unplug, unwind, and slow down. Please note: If you are looking for high-end luxury or a modern hotel feel, this laid-back retreat might not be for you. If you love old-school coastal character, you’ll be right at home.
The marsh is your backyard—perfect for spotting local wildlife or launching your own kayak or canoe. After a day of exploring, head up to the upper deck to soak in breathtaking views of Little Bay and catch spectacular, uninterrupted sunsets.
The Layout
- Main Floor: An open, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, full laundry facilities, and a cozy living room with two distinct seating areas (including a streaming-ready TV).
- Second Floor: Three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The primary bedroom (Queen) and the second bedroom (Full) both feature window A/C units, while the cozy third bedroom (Full) is equipped with a fan.
Recent Upgrades We are constantly improving the property to ensure a comfortable stay. Recent updates include a brand-new stove, new leather recliner and loveseat, a refreshed custom shower, extensive yard and road cleanup, a newly built bridge over the marsh area, and professional mosquito and tick treatment for your comfort.
Dog-Friendly! Bring your four-legged best friend along for the adventure.
Guest Access: Guests have full run of the house, except for the shed and a locked closet behind the laundry room (used for owner storage). While the owners’ personal boats are not available for guest use, we highly encourage you to bring your own kayaks or canoes to launch directly from the marsh!
